OSCEOLA CONSULTING JOINS WITH TEAM SOCALGAS TO SPONSOR WALKUNITEDLA.

 NOVEMBER 6, 2021, INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA -- Osceola Consulting joined Team SoCal Gas to sponsor WalkUnitedLA, an initiative of United Way of Greater Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Rams to combat poverty in Los Angeles. “We partnered with Team SoCal Gas to sponsor WalkUnitedLA to combat the root causes of poverty including homelessness, and sponsored HomeWalk, the predecessor to this initiative since 2016,” stated Kevin Narcomey, founder and CEO of Osceola Consulting. “We will continue to support this initiative because it aligns with company’s culture to develop the local communities where we live and, where our clients operate,” Narcomey added.

Team SoCal Gas raised more than $100,000 achieving 102% of its WalkUnitedLA Goal. With the leadership of Senior Vice President Jeff Walker Team SoCal Gas involved nearly 800 employees and partners, and was both the top fundraising and largest team. With thousands of supporters and two Match Challenge sponsors WalkUnited LA raised nearly $800,000 to: help students achieve academic success, build supportive housing for the homeless, and provide financial assistance for struggling families in L.A. County.

About WalkUnitiedLA/HomeWalk:
The new WalkUnitedLA is a family 5K run/walk at SoFi Stadium to end poverty in Los Angeles County, to directly meet the needs of the most vulnerable individuals and communities, especially Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and those hit hardest by the pandemic. The focus of this event is expanded to align with the work across the root causes of poverty, including homelessness. In its 13 years history HomeWalk has raised over $10 million, mobilized more than 100,000 walkers, and housed over 20,000 formerly homeless residents.
