Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) is the largest natural gas distribution utility in the United States. Serving nearly 21 million customers across 20,000 square miles in the central and Southern California area, SoCalGas is a regulated subsidiary of Sempra Energy, a Fortune 500 energy services company based in San Diego, California.
Osceola’s relationship with SoCalGas began on a major process improvement project in 2008. Having exceeded expectations on this first assignment, Osceola was offered a direct contract for the project’s next phase and has subsequently been awarded contract renewals each year. Over time, Osceola has also been engaged to provide software procurement and vendor management services, and has also developed solutions to help SoCalGas manage its fixed assets and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI).
Today, SoCalGas is one of Osceola's largest clients with Osceola providing program design, development, testing, training, change management and solution deployment skills and experience on a wide variety of initiatives.
